Mimori

Privacy policy

Effective November 4, 2026

Mimori only asks Discord for your basic profile. We keep what the game needs to remember your mims and your progress, we don't show you ads, we don't track you across the web, and we never sell your data. You can ask us to delete everything at any time.

Who we are

Mimori is a game played as a Discord Activity. It's made and run by ERA HQ LLC ("ERA HQ", "we", "us"). If you have a question about this policy or your data, email anthony@erahq.ai.

What we collect

From your Discord account

When you start Mimori, Discord asks you to let it use the identify permission. That gives us:

It does not give us your email address, your password, your messages, your friends list or the servers you're in.

Where you play

Your game

Everything the game needs to keep your place: your mims and their names, stats and history; your items, Glints and experience; your Homestead, buildings and decor; your outfit; Market listings and trades you make; Wilds parties and runs; and visits to other keepers' Homesteads.

Technical information

Purchases

If Mimori offers items for purchase, they're sold through Discord. Discord handles payment, and we never see your card or payment details. Discord tells us which item you bought and your user ID so we can give it to you in the game.

How we use it

We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't build profiles of you for anyone else.

Who can see it

Other playersYour display name, your keeper's look, your mims and their names, your Homestead when someone visits it, your Market listings, and trades or parties you're part of. Players only see the shared spaces of a server they're playing in.
Google CloudHosts the game and its database (in the United States, region us-east1).
DiscordRuns the platform Mimori plays on and handles any purchases.
VercelHosts this website.

These providers process data for us under their own security and privacy terms. We don't sell or rent your data. We'd only disclose it otherwise if the law requires it, or to protect players and the game from serious harm.

How long we keep it

We keep your game data while you play so your progress is there when you come back. If you ask us to delete it, we delete it from the live game within 30 days. Copies in our database backups expire within 7 days after that. Server logs are kept as described above.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, UK or California), you may have further rights, such as objecting to how we use your data or complaining to your local data protection authority. We'll honor those requests. Mimori is run from the United States, and your data is stored there.

Children

Mimori is played through Discord, which requires users to be at least 13, or older where local law sets a higher age. Mimori isn't meant for anyone under that age, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has used Mimori, email us and we'll delete their data.

Security

Data travels encrypted between your device and our servers, and it's encrypted at rest by Google Cloud. Only the game's own service account can reach the database. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe and will tell you if something goes wrong that affects you.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll also let players know in the game before it takes effect.
